The space team

My property journey started with professional training in Devon and the Midlands. Once I was a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor, London beckoned and I enjoyed the 1980s buying, selling and developing property for clients.

During the early 90s recession, I secured tenants for over 1 million square feet of offices in Hampshire, and then went on to establish my own consultancy.

Running a company proved both exhilarating and a steep learning curve. We soon expanded to 25 staff by providing innovative new services and a gold star service to clients we still work with today.

While maintaining our consultancy business, we returned to Devon in 2002 to live closer to family. We branched out by developing and restoring historic buildings and converting them to workspace and homes.

As the UK economy fluctuated, our emphasis shifted back to consultancy work where we used our creative talents to transform client’s office interiors.

Keen to explore new challenges and stay on the learning curve, I’ve just completed a two-year project in New Zealand working with a government body on their property strategy, process and systems for their 50 sites throughout New Zealand.

With over 30 years’ experience, I’ve honed my property skills in many environments and have a depth of knowledge and passion that equips me to deliver real value for clients.

Tim lives in Exeter and Lyme Regis and enjoys spending time with his family and his hobbies, to name a few, include volunteering with the RNLI, skiing, swimming, tramping, sailing and cycling.
